Customizing your cookie banner
Make the cookie banner match your brand. NoNonsense Cookie offers several customization options — all while keeping your banner GDPR compliant.
Brand colors
In the Settings page for your site, you can customize the primary color of the cookie banner to match your brand. The accept button, links, and accent elements will use your chosen color. All color combinations are checked to maintain accessibility and readability.
Banner position
Choose where the cookie banner appears on your website. You can position it at the bottom of the page (default) or as a centered modal. The position setting is available in the Settings page for your site.
Language settings
The cookie banner automatically detects your visitor's browser language and shows the consent dialog in their language. We support Dutch, English, German, French, and Spanish. You can also set a default language if you prefer to control this yourself.
Custom text
You can customize the banner title, description, and button labels from the Settings page. This is useful if you want to add a personal touch or use industry-specific language. All customizations are checked to ensure GDPR compliance — for example, the "Reject" button must always be as prominent as the "Accept" button.
